They can also collect tokens scattered on each track (a total of five tickets for each way) and use them at a vending machine, like a slot machine, picking either 1 pass, 2 tokens, or 5 tokens and randomly receiving an item based on the tokens used. The player can unlock more items in the career mode by winning matches and completing specific challenges, such as taking down three opponents and activating three traps.
